United Pipe and Supply wanted to build a wholesale pipe yard on a site that was adjacent to a large retail outlet, which was in the process of being developed. Our project team overcame significant challenges such as routing utilities to United Pipe and Supply’s site along with mitigation issues involving the adjacent wetlands Because the site they selected had no sewer, the project team had to convince the City of Vancouver and the retail outlet that sewer lines should be extended to United Pipe and Supply’s site.
